I have been making short-form content for the internet in particular since 2013 when I was 12 years old.

This page details my videography work for various clients and across multiple genres.

I have experience shooting other content not displayed here but is available online.

Five Presented by Rio Ferdinand

Through my job at Studio68, I've had the chance to shoot (and edit full episodes of) the Head's Gone Podcast, hosted by Stephen Howson and Ashley Williams, with guests such as Joleon Lescot, as well as creating the intro segment for the show.

I've also shot multiple episodes of Vibe With Five with Joel Beya, Ste and Ash, Kyle Walker and Rio Ferdinand, when they are visiting up in Manchester.

Howson irl

As I began my full-time role at Studio68, my primary responsibility became the Howson IRL YouTube channel as a whole, both shooting and editing full videos to upload to the ever growing audience.

I took over the channel in October 2023, uploading my first video on the 1st of November to a subscriber base of 5,000, which has grown exponentially since then.

Since then I have created videos of all kinds ranging from hiking to camping to car restoration and others, notably including a documentary-style video promoting Hero Paws, a charity that rehomes retired ex-service dogs.

Since starting this role, I've learned a myriad of topics. I've particularly been impressed by the inner workings of YouTube itself, I've learned to pilot a drone to level up the production value of YouTube videos and I've furthered my on-the-fly shooting skills that will assist me in all my creative endeavours.

The sheer variety of topics covered by working on this channel is vast, and only going to increase with the ideas we have in the pipeline.

Feel free to subscribe and give each and every video a like, lord knows I won't complain.

Stretford Paddock FC

In August 2023, I started an internship at Stretford Paddock FC as a camera operator, gathering footage of their home and away games in the Cheshire Football League. I worked on 3 videos before I was offered a full-time videographer role at the company. In this full time role, I had held multiple photoshoots to promote the release and sale of their 2023/24 jerseys. This includes both in-studio and lifestyle shoots on-location in Manchester.

As for the internship, I shot elements of the matches themselves, the manager, the players and the crowd on top of other aspects of the online production, like pre and post-match B-roll, using my own kit.

This was the first video from the first match I shot for Paddock, and I was pleasantly surprised by seeing that my footage made up the majority of the video despite having various technical difficulties.

Whilst shooting the game, not only did I get a chance to see how the production unit works together, but I also got the chance to show my ability both as a videographer and as a technical member of the camera department. I did this by fixing issues with A-cam as well as suggesting streamlined techniques of shooting using the Blackmagic pocket cinema camera and how to change its settings.

Stephen Howson

Alongside my Howson IRL duties, I also have covered on multiple occasions for the Stephen Howson YouTube channel when the editor for that content is away or unavailable.

This is a very different style of content to what I normally produce, but the challenging part of this style of content is the extremely tight deadlines.

Since the content is often breaking news, we need to record, edit and upload the videos as quickly as possible. This often means that multiple projects may get pushed aside in order to push out more vital content that will catch the most views.

On top of the pressure of the deadlines, this channel is also what brings in most of the company's revenue, and thus the videos must perform as best as they can. This of course means that sponsored segments must be perfectly placed to keep clients happy, and the videos need to be engaging enough as to keep the audience coming back for more.

Stretford Paddock

On top of covering for Stephen Howson's editor, I occasionally cover for Stretford Paddock's producers as well.

I have shot the News with Jay Motty detailing Ruud Van Nistelrooy's return to United, shot and edited multiple episodes of Transfer Review with Ste Howson talking about the likelihood of player arrivals and departures and also vision mixed a 1-on-1 interview with Joe Smith and his guest, Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, discussing United's 24/25 summer transfer targets Matthijs De Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro and more and finally, producing multiple live episodes of their Friday podcast, The Brew with guests like David Pritt.

This channel has provided me with quite the variety of styles of content in the short space of time that I have worked with them as cover for their production team, but provided me with great experience in the live-production department.
