I started shooting as a professional photographer in August 2020 and since then, I have found more and more passion for it time and time again. I have experience in portraits/headshots, product/food photography, weddings and live music/sports photography.

Anthea Drive v1

I first met Sam from the band "Anthea Drive" while at a job interview for Flamingo Land. We then ended up working at Morrison's together, where he created a band and asked me about taking some photos for them.

I said yes, and we shot in August 2020

This was my most complicated shoot so far. Obviously. It was my second shoot. Shooting 5 band members at 4 different location was challenging, but I feel I took some very decent photos indeed.

I learned how to edit photos in Adobe Lightroom thanks to this job, a software I am now extremely comfortable and familiar with.

Tyler D'Cruz

Shooting with Tyler, as seen on ITV2 on the reality show, Kavos Weekender, was brilliant. It was my first time shooting with a professional model, and my first time shooting with brands the size of BooHooMAN, which is an excellent name for the CV.

I first met Tyler when I shot at the charity match down in Aveley back in December 2022. He messaged me on Instagram (@spencerfoxcreative) and arranged a shoot with me while he was up in Manchester.

I took Tyler around the city, finding some awesome locations that made some excellent backdrops, particularly with the light snow that we had that day.

We shot for BooHooMAN, Redefine Clothing, Gym Cub and Clairebella.

Stephen Brailsford

As if one Brailsford wasn't enough!

Kia's dad booked me to do a headshot session with him as he had just began learning acting for screen at college in my hometown of Scarborough after decades of being an entertainer in a live setting, doing stand up, sketches and plays.

We shot his headshots in his house with his backdrops, then proceeded to venture out into Scarborough town to do more portraits.

Stephen has a bright and vibrant personality with the wardrobe to back it up. His purple suit was a particular favourite of mine. The colourful waistcoat is a close second.

This was one of the first actor headshot sessions that I had done in my career and I learned a lot in a short amount of time.

Kia Brailsford v2

Kia loved the first batch of photos so much that he booked me for another shoot in March 2021.

Mr Brailsford went through yet another visible change, this time with his hair.

We shot in Spinningfields, a very modern and high-end area in Manchester. I was making content for YouTube where I took portraits on the Canon 20D, a (at the time of writing) 17 year old camera and compared them with shots from my Canon 90D taken at the same time in the same location.

The shoot itself went very well and both parties involved were happy with the results.

Meg Howe

Meg Howe is an old college friend of mine who contacted me about taking some headshots to use for her campaign to become the editor for the student newspaper at Newcastle University.

We met at York train station in the Summer of 2021 and went on an adventure around the city, taking photos at the Minster and through York, all the way to Rowntrees Park.

Louis Brown

Louis is a lad I knew in primary school who started a career in music and needed some promotional shots and came to me.

He lives nearby Manchester, met me at Piccadilly train station for my first professional gig in the big city.

We ventured through Piccadilly Gardens, China Town and all the way to Salford Lads Club (Louis is a big Smiths fan).

Kia Brailsford v1

My first ever photo shoot was with one of my best friends, Kia. He had just gone through a huge weight loss transformation and also wanted to mark his first tattoo with a confident portrait shoot.

I gained a lot from this shoot. I learned how to use my new camera, the Canon 90D.

I learned the basics on how to pose male clients and how to get the results they want.

Finally, I learned how to talk to clients and make them feel at ease in a situation that would normally be miles out of the comfort zone.

Anthea Drive v2

The Anthea Drive boys got plenty of promotional work out of their first shoot, but of course eventually ran out of photos to post.

And what do you do when you run out of something? You get more.

Sam contacted me again about shooting some more photos with the lads in the band, who are now down a man due to other commitments, and I gladly obliged.

Almost a full year after shooting with them the first time, we shot for a full day, starting in York on a footbridge over the train tracks and ending up at an abandoned and derelict building nearby Stamford Bridge.

Molly Eborall

The following day from shooting photos with Polly, I took Molly out after wrapping the Happy Hour shoot for the day to take some portraits and headshots.

Molly had less time to shoot than Polly did, and thus we stayed in the local area around MediaCity to do a short 20 minute shoot.

Molly let me know that she was very happy with the photos and that I should contact her for some runner/behind-the-scenes photography on the productions she is a part of, namely Coronation Street.

Joy Nwosu

I recently shot in a lovely park out of the city with Joy and her family to celebrate her birthday.

I'm really happy with how the photos turned out, as was Joy.

This was my first time shooting photos of a family but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I was able to use my experience of shooting groups and individuals to direct both Joy and her children to achieve some particularly fun and creative pictures with props that we had found on the day, some petals from the cherry blossom tree.

Polly Lister

As previously mentioned, I met Polly on the set of Happy Hour. We began talking and during a break in shooting, went out into Salford Quays and shot some headshots and portraits.

Polly was lovely and was very complimentary of my photography. Polly went on to recommend my services to her fellow actor friends for headshots and portraits.

Gemma Cormack

Gemma Cormack is a sneakerhead and media marketing professional, who has made her own online courses to teach small business owners how to promote and improve their business.

Gemma reached out to me through a mutual friend and asked for a brand shoot that included headshots, portraits, candid photos of her working and more.
